Challenges of Directing Nigerian Epic Film: A Study of Eagle's Bride

Abstract

Epic Film is a simple long film that portrays an old heroic deeds and adventure covering an extended period of time. The term Epic film refers to movies that have large scope, often set during a time of war, or other conflict and sometimes taking place over a considerable period of time. This research topic uses qualitative method in providing a better understanding of what Epic film is, who is a Director, Directing, Responsibilities of a Director, Challenges of directing an Epic film and offer few solutions to the challenges. This research choose an Epic film  because it is one of the oldest film genre. It is often accredited to their ability to appeal to a wide range of audience and several of the highest grossing film of all time have been Epic films.
